How we protect your data
Encryption
Your documents are locked with the same standard banks use, whether they're stored or on the move.
Technical detail
AES-256 at rest with keys in a managed KMS, rotated [yearly]; TLS 1.2+ with HSTS in transit; signed, expiring download links.
Where data lives
Your data is stored with Vercel, in data centers in Frankfurt, Germany.
Technical detail
Hosted on Vercel, Frankfurt region (fra1), Germany. Vercel holds a SOC 2 Type 2 attestation and ISO 27001 certification, and offers a GDPR Data Processing Addendum.
Who can access it
Only you and the partner you invite. Our team cannot open your documents unless you ask for help and grant access.
Technical detail
Role-based access, least privilege, MFA for all staff, time-limited support access granted by the user, every access logged.
Document analysis
When Visamo checks a document, it's processed only to give you that result. It's never used to train AI models.
Technical detail
Contractual zero-retention and no-training terms with every provider involved in processing.
Backups
Encrypted backups protect you from loss, and they're deleted on a fixed schedule.
Technical detail
Encrypted daily backups, 30-day retention, then purged.
Payments
Card payments go through [payment provider]. We never see or store your card number.
Technical detail
PCI-DSS-compliant processor; Visamo stores only a payment token and the receipt.
If something goes wrong
We watch for threats around the clock and will tell you promptly if your data is ever affected.

Monitoring and alerting, a written incident-response plan, and notification to users and to the Privacy Protection Authority as Israeli law requires.

- Keep your documents after you delete them (beyond the 30-day backup window)
Visamo is designed to comply with Israel's Privacy Protection Law, 1981, including Amendment 13, and the Privacy Protection (Data Security) Regulations, 2017. If you live in the EU or UK, you also have your rights under the GDPR, including access, correction and deletion.
